Together, we can also discuss possible venue options, did you know that you don’t have to hold the service at the crematorium? Funeral Services

My Funeral services are personalised to reflect the life, beliefs, and values of person you’ve just lost. I will work closely with you, enabling me to provide you with a respectful and dignified service that you would be proud of.

The service can include some religious elements of any faith; hymns, prayers or bible readings, music of any kind, poems, photograph slideshows or live musical performances.

Memorial Services

Memorial services provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together to remember and celebrate the life of your family member or friend. I create a supportive and uplifting atmosphere to honour their memory.

Choose somewhere really special to hold this service, there are no restrictions, I can suggest a few tried and tested venues.

The cremation or burial would usually have taken place prior to the service.

 

Celebrations of Life

A celebration of life is a unique way to remember and honour your loved one. It is a more joyful and uplifting service that focuses on a person’s achievements, passions, and the positive impact they had on others.

No request is ever left unconsidered, I have had a pack of prize winning dogs attend, jived round the coffin and danced the Macarena! Whatever feels right for you, is right for me!

The cost of my services varies depending on the location, complexity and customisation of the service. Please contact me for a personalised quote.

How do you personalise the ceremony?

I personalise the service by taking the time to listen to your stories, memories, and wishes. We would meet in person or via zoom to discuss all elements of the service, and also so I gain an understanding of the person whose life we are remembering. I would then incorporate these personal details into the service to create a meaningful and unique tribute.

Is your job sad?

Absolutely not!
Whilst of course always remembering someone has died, or is about to die is incredibly sad. My job is to remember their life; celebrate the happy times, reflect and express everyone's gratitude for being a part of it.

My job is to offer strength and support to you and your family, to tell the stories of their life and bring comfort on a difficult day.

Do you plan services before the person has died?

Yes! Absolutely.

I often do this, often with terminally ill people. They find planning the service brings them some comfort, knowing it truly reflects them and their life and ensuring you play the right music and use the right photographs! It also means when they've passed the family haven't got to navigate the service planning in the immediate aftermath of losing someone they love. They often incorporate a little personal touch, unbeknown to the family, which is so lovely; a video message or a letter to be read.... 

Can you recommend a Funeral Director/Company?

Yes, being independent I absoluely can, a little inside knowledge!
