About Me
I'm a south coast girl, have a large extended family, as well as a family of my own, not forgetting our four sausage dogs and golden Labrador (no such thing as too many!).
Up until 2016, I worked as a Registrar for my local authority for many years conducting Wedding Ceremonies, and then sadly my Father died, together with my sister we delivered his eulogy. This sparked an interest in the funeral industry and so I approached the Funeral Director we had used to discuss a possible career move; not an uncommon change to go from registrar to celebrant, so I took the plunge!
I therefore understand the importance of saying goodbye in a way that truly reflects the unique life of the person you've lost. With compassion, empathy, and attention to detail, I will prepare a personalised funeral service that will honour their life and your memories, and bring comfort to those left behind. I am here to guide you through this difficult time and create a fitting and memorable service.
I have had the honour and privilege of helping well over a thousand families since becoming a funeral celebrant, many of whom have requested me again for subsequent services or recommended me to others, for which I am so grateful.
